Garrett M. Brief is a dynamic attorney licensed to practice law for over 20 years with a focus on personal injury law. Mr. Brief is a 1995 magna cum laude graduate of Gonzaga Law School with an undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara in the Political Science honors department. Prior to joining Morey & Upton, LLP he was an attorney for a boutique firm in Long Beach, California where he handled 100+ personal injury and bankruptcy cases. The personal injury portion of his portfolio focused on auto accidents, wrongful death, and dog bite cases.
Mr. Brief's philosophy with respect to personal injury cases is to listen to his client's concerns and help them understand the legal process. This has resulted in millions of dollars in recovery for his clients.
When he is not advocating for his clients, he is advocating and raising money to help feed underprivileged school children in Long Beach. He serves the community where he was raised by serving as an executive board member of Food Finders and Team 100, organizations that support underprivileged school children in the Long Beach Unified School District. Mr. Brief lives in Long Beach with his wife and two children.
