
Jean Harries is a 2010 graduate of Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, having attended classes during the evenings while working full-time as a plaintiff personal injury paralegal during the day. Ms. Harries was admitted to the California State Bar in 2012, after a long and successful career of over 19 years as a paralegal. Ms. Harries joined Morey & Upton, LLP as an attorney in June 2014 and enjoys being an essential component of the team, obtaining fair settlements for its clients.
Although Ms. Harries has enjoyed a well-rounded career, gaining valuable experience in many areas of law including construction defect, bankruptcy, wills & trusts, probate, conservatorship, family law and landlord - tenant law, she prefers the personal injury forum because it is a means of helping people who have been unjustly injured through no fault of their own. She specializes in the meticulous and empathetic nature of working up a case, assuring our clients get well and are equitably compensated for their injuries.
Ms. Harries also has a Master of Arts Degree in music history and literature from California State University-Long Beach. She plays the violin semi-professionally and is currently an officer on the board of directors for the West Coast Pops Orchestra in Orange County.
