Oz Tannenbaum

Costa Mesa, California

Oz Tannenbaum is an attorney with Morey & Upton, LLP and has over 12 years of civil litigation experience. Prior to joining the firm, he was a litigator for nearly a decade at Murtaugh Meyer Nelson & Treglia LLP (now Murtaugh Treglia Stern & Deily LLP), learning and developing his skills in all phases of litigation while defending individuals and businesses in personal injury and wrongful death actions.

The personal approach to each client’s case is a challenging and rewarding experience for which he is particularly proud. Mr. Tannenbaum speaks with every single client at various stages of litigation and has always provided one-on-one attention to each client’s case, regardless of the nature or extent of the injuries sustained. Additionally, Mr. Tannenbaum spent years defending the interests of insurance companies, gaining first-hand knowledge of how they evaluate cases to minimize paying full and fair compensation to injured persons and/or their families. He puts his knowledge and experience of the opposition’s tactics to use every day in meticulous preparation and vigorous advocacy for his clients.

Mr. Tannenbaum earned his undergraduate degree in Finance/Real Estate/Business Law from California Polytechnic University, Pomona (BS, 2001), and his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law where he was a member of the Southwestern Moot Court Honors Program (JD, 2005).

He enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, playing ice hockey and is actively involved in NextGen OC, a division of the Jewish Federation & Family Services, as well as the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association.
